As UK enters second lockdown, it’s busines as usual for Saphire

Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently announced a second nationwide lockdown as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread across the country. Thankfully for Saphire’s clients, we were ready for this eventuality. We’re still open for business, and ready to support you in whatever challenges you’re facing during this difficult time.

As an IT specialist, Saphire has the data infrastructure to facilitate home working as-and-when necessary. During the original lockdown, we were able to maintain a full service while staff worked from home. Over the next month we intend to do the same, using tools like Zoom and WhatsApp to keep us connected. We’ll be resuming our video meetings, and even bringing back our virtual after work drink nights on Fridays (there’s a silver lining to every cloud, as they say…)

Levity aside, we understand many people will be struggling with the isolation of lockdown – particularly if they’re concerned that it will last over Christmas. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything to make this period shorter – but we hope we can make it easier for you and your business. We can provide you with access to the best digital tools available. Many of these tools can help you to organise and communicate with your workforce remotely, and they might be just what you need to come out of lockdown as strong as you went in.
